West Virginia High School Volleyball - Nicholas County Liberty

The Liberty Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Nicholas County Grizzlies to 0 in the Raiders league victory on Saturday.

The Raiders now possess a 14-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyoming East for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7. Liberty will meet a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 20-7.

The Grizzlies (9-26) will now prepare for their game against Independence (Coal City, WV). The Patriots enter the Coalfield AA game with a 15-13 record. In their last game, Independence defeated Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV), 2-0, in a non-league game.
