The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Wellman-Union Wildcats (Wellman, TX) and the visiting Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX), saw Wellman-Union's volleyball squad beat Loop by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Wellman-Union upgrades its record to 10-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Klondike (Lamesa, TX) to play the Cougars in a 1A Region I District 2 bout on Saturday, October 14. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 21-14. Klondike won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Loop (Loop, TX)

The Longhorns now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Klondike for a 1A Region I District 2 bout on Monday, October 9. Loop will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Talkington School for Young Women Leaders (Lubbock, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 20-14.
