The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Uniontown Eagles (Uniontown, KS) and the visiting Marmaton Valley Wildcats (Moran, KS), saw Uniontown's volleyball squad beat Marmaton Valley by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Uniontown upgrades its record to 6-22 on the year. The Eagles travel to Oswego (Oswego, KS) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 12-18. Oswego lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Erie (Erie, KS)

The Wildcats now own a 6-21 record. They play next when they host Galena for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Marmaton Valley will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chetopa (Chetopa, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-11.
