Connecticut High School Volleyball - Naugatuck tips Pomperaug

October 7, 2023: Naugatuck, CT 06770

Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Greyhounds battle the Wilby Wildcats (Waterbury, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley match, on Thursday, October 12. Naugatuck will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record.

With the loss, Pomperaug moves to 4-7 on the year. The Panthers host Immaculate (Danbury, CT) to face the Mustangs in a Southwest-Colonial contest on Tuesday, October 10. The Mustangs go into the contest with a record of 8-5. Immaculate won 3-2 in their recent league contest against Weston (Weston, CT)
