In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Westwood Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the New Milford Knights.
The Cardinals (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Pascack Hills defeated Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Knights encounter the Midland Park Panthers (Midland Park, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 10. New Milford will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 5-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Dumont (Dumont, NJ).
