The Washburn Rural Blues volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Olathe East Hawks to 0 in the Blues non-league victory on Saturday.

The Blues now have a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chetek-Weyerhaeuser for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7. Washburn Rural will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-16.

The Hawks (17-15) will now prepare for their game against Olathe West (Olathe, KS). The Owls enter the non-league game with a 22-5 record. In their last game, Olathe West gained a win over Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS), 3-2, in a league game.
