In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Paramus Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ridgefield Park Scarlets.
The Spartans (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Dwight Morrow (Englewood, NJ). The Maroon Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Dwight Morrow lost by Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Scarlets clash with the Fort Lee Bridgemen (Fort Lee, NJ) in a Freelance battle, on Monday, October 9. Ridgefield Park will attempt to advance on its 6-10 season record. The Bridgemen come into the battle with a 13-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Saddle Brook (Saddle Brook, NJ).
