The Petrolia Pirates volleyball team (Petrolia, TX), went down 3-1 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX)

The Indians (6-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Windthorst (Windthorst, TX). The Trojans come into the 2A Region I District 7 challenge with a 34-4 record. In their last challenge, Windthorst defeated Olney (Olney, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates encounter the Archer City Wildcats (Archer City, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Petrolia will attempt to move on its 6-25 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 3-2 league win over Olney (Olney, TX).
