The Valdosta Wildcats volleyball team (Valdosta, GA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Richmond Hill Wildcats (Richmond Hill, GA)

The Wildcats (25-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA). The Vikings enter the 7A Area 1 challenge with a 14-14 record. In their last challenge, Lowndes defeated Columbia (Lake City, FL), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA) in a 7A Area 1 challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Valdosta will attempt to move on its 14-19 season record. The Packers enter the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lee County (Leesburg, GA).
