The Van Meter Bulldogs (Van Meter, IA) volleyball overcame the host Southeast Warren Warhawks (Liberty Center, IA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Van Meter upgrades its record to 18-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA) to play the Lions in a West Central outing on Monday, October 9. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 29-6.

The Warhawks now own a 10-23 record. They play next when they host Bedford for a Pride of Iowa outing on Monday, October 9. Southeast Warren will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Savannah (Savannah, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-12.
