The Gates Chili Spartans (Rochester, NY) volleyball were victorious over the visiting Pavilion Golden Gophers (Pavilion, NY), 3-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Edison Tech for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 9. Gates Chili will clash with a Inventors team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to World of Inquiry (Rochester, NY). The Inventors record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Pavilion drops to 1-7 on the season. The Golden gophers travel to Brockport (Brockport, NY) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 5-2. Brockport won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Wayne (Ontario Center, NY)
