The crowd at Monday's league contest between the Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) and the visiting Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA), witnessed Newport Harbor's flag football squad wallop Fountain Valley by a count of 35-0.

The Sailors (20-2) will now prepare for their contest against Marina (Huntington Beach, CA). The Vikings enter the Sunset contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Marina crushed Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA), 32-26, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Barons confront the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Fountain Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a 3-14 record after their 27-0 non-league loss to Kennedy (La Palma, CA).
