The University Trojans were victorious over the host Irvine Vaqueros flag football team by a score of 26-0 in Monday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Laguna Beach Breakers (Laguna Beach, CA) in a Pacific Coast challenge, on Wednesday, October 9. University will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Breakers enter the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 34-19 league loss to Rosary Academy (Fullerton, CA).
The Vaqueros (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodbridge (Irvine, CA). The Warriors enter the Pacific Coast challenge with a 16-6 record. In their last challenge, Woodbridge lost by Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA), 21-18, in a non-league challenge.
