The Bishop Stang Spartans held off the visiting Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Monday's non-league game.
Next, the Spartans clash with the St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA) in a Catholic Central - Large game, on Wednesday, October 9. Bishop Stang will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record.
The Trojans (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Durfee (Fall River, MA). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Durfee edged Brockton (Brockton, MA), 1-0, in a non-league game.
