The Deming Wildcats soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Chaparral Lobos to 1 in the Wildcats league victory on Monday.

The Wildcats now hold a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Silver for a 4A District 3 bout on Thursday, October 10. Deming will play a Fighting Colts squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Fighting Colts record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Chaparral falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Lobos host Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM) to clash with the Desert Warriors in a 4A District 3 test on Wednesday, October 9. The Desert Warriors come into the test with a record of 9-4. Santa Teresa won 8-0 in their recent league test against Silver (Silver City, NM)
