In Monday's league outing, the host Kennedy Memorial Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the South Plainfield Tigers.

The Mustangs (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Canucks go into the non-league outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, North Plainfield was overwhelmed by St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Sayreville Bombers (Parlin, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 10. South Plainfield will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record.
