The Spackenkill Spartans soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Marlboro Central Dukes to 1 in the Spartans league victory on Monday.

The Spartans now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a Mid Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) bout on Wednesday, October 9. Spackenkill will play a Presidents squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to New Paltz (New Paltz, NY). The Presidents record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Marlboro Central moves to 2-8 on the year. The Dukes host Highland (Highland, NY) to play the Huskies in a Mid Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) bout on Tuesday, October 8. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Highland lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against Rhinebeck (Rhinebeck, NY)
