In Monday's league outing, the host Mt. Abraham Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Middlebury Tigers.

The Eagles (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT). The Green Knights go into the Lake outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Rice Memorial was edged by Milton (Milton, VT), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Vergennes Commodores (Vergennes, VT) in a Lake outing, on Wednesday, October 9. Middlebury will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Commodores go into the outing with a 4-7 record after their 7-0 league loss to Milton (Milton, VT).
