Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Franklin moves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 9. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-2.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Henderson for a non-league test on Monday, October 14.
