In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Mark Morris Monarchs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Woodland Beavers.

The Monarchs (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Hockinson lost by Columbia River (Vancouver, WA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Beavers play the Hudson's Bay Eagles (Vancouver, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 9. Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to R.A. Long (Longview, WA).
