Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the North Michigan Christian Academy Comets (Burt Lake, MI) and the visiting Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI), saw North Michigan Christian Academy's soccer squad hold off Alcona by a count of 2-1.

The Comets (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mackinac Island (Mackinac Island, MI). The Lakers enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Mackinac Island tipped Beaver Island (Beaver Island, MI), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Calvary Baptist Academy Kings (Midland, MI) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 9. Alcona will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record.
