Fans at Monday's league battle between the Palmyra Cougars (Palmyra, PA) and the visiting Central Dauphin East Panthers (Harrisburg, PA), saw Palmyra's soccer squad hold off Central Dauphin East by a count of 1-0.

The Cougars (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hershey (Hershey, PA). The Trojans enter the Mid-Penn - Keystone battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Hershey was edged by Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders (Harrisburg, PA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 10. Central Dauphin East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 7-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Red Land (Lewisberry, PA).
