The Chargers (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Huskies enter the Big South 3A battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Huss was edged by Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 3A battle, on Wednesday, October 9. Kings Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Greenwave enter the battle with a 7-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Huss (Gastonia, NC).
