North Carolina High School Soccer - East Davidson knocks off Lexington

Fans at Monday's league battle between the East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) and the host Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), saw East Davidson's soccer squad triumph over Lexington by a count of 8-0.

The Golden Eagles (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Phoenix enter the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, McMichael was overwhelmed by North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC), 4-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A battle, on Wednesday, October 9. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
