With the triumph, Goshen Central advances its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY) to clash with the Wizards in a Section 9 Division III test on Wednesday, October 9. The Wizards come into the test with a record of 9-1. Washingtonville won 4-3 in their recent league test against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY)

The Wildcats now have a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Valley Central for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 9. Warwick will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Goshen Central (Goshen, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 4-7.
