Grand River Academy (Austinburg, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Medina Christian Academy Knights (Medina, OH), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Grand River Academy advances its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The travel to Andrews Osborne Academy (Willoughby, OH) to clash with the Phoenix in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 9. The Phoenix come into the test with a record of 6-4. Andrews Osborne Academy lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA)

The Knights now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Christian Community for a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. Medina Christian Academy will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (Willoughby, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.
