Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC), 7-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Hobbton advances its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Carolina 1A test on Wednesday, October 9. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-7. Rosewood lost 2-0 in their recent league test against North Duplin (Calypso, NC)

The Rebels now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Rosewood for a Carolina 1A test on Tuesday, October 8. North Duplin will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
