In Monday's non-league outing, the host Lincoln Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the South Harrison Hawks.

The Cougars (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Huskies go into the Big Ten outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, North Marion got by Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV), 5-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Hawks confront the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Clarksburg, WV) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 10. South Harrison will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the outing with a 6-6 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV).
