Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Monmouth Academy advances its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Winthrop (Winthrop, ME) to clash with the Ramblers in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 9. The Ramblers come into the test with a record of 3-4. Winthrop won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Buckfield (Buckfield, ME)

The Greyhounds now have a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Abram for a Class C - South test on Wednesday, October 9. Lisbon will clash with a Roadrunners team coming off a 5-0 league win over Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME). The Roadrunners record now stands at 6-3.
