Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Normal West moves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Centennial (Champaign, IL) to clash with the Chargers in a Big Twelve test on Tuesday, October 8. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 9-5. Centennial lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Washington (Washington, IL)

The Dragons now sport a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Limestone for a Mid-Illini test on Tuesday, October 8. Pekin will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 12-5.
