North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA), 7-2 in a league test.
With the triumph, North Pocono advances its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Scranton (Scranton, PA) to clash with the Knights in a Lackawanna - Division I test on Wednesday, October 9. The Knights come into the test with a record of 2-10. Scranton lost 5-1 in their recent league test against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA)
The Cougars now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Scranton Prep for a Lackawanna - Division I test on Wednesday, October 9. Valley View will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 13-2.
