In Monday's league outing, the visiting Santa Teresa Desert Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Silver Fighting Colts.

The Desert Warriors (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos go into the 4A District 3 outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Chaparral got by Deming (Deming, NM), 7-3, in a league outing.

Next up, the Fighting Colts play the Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) in a 4A District 3 outing, on Thursday, October 10. Silver will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 7-8 record after their 7-3 league loss to Chaparral (Chaparral, NM).
