North Carolina High School Soccer - Southwestern Randolph knocks off Uwharrie Charter

The Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) soccer overwhelmed the host Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC), 8-0 in Monday's league challenge.

The Cougars now hold a 15-0 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Grove for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, October 9. Southwestern Randolph will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 3-3 league Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Uwharrie Charter moves to 4-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Randleman (Randleman, NC) to encounter the Tigers in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, October 8. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Randleman won 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Trinity (Trinity, NC)
