The DePaul Catholic Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Academy of the Holy Angels Angels to 0 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans now have a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Lakeland Regional for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 10. DePaul Catholic will play a Lancers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Indian Hills (Oakland, NJ). The Lancers record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Academy of the Holy Angels drops to 1-11 on the campaign. The Angels host Paramus (Paramus, NJ) to play the Spartans in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 10. The Spartans come into the outing with a record of 8-2. Paramus won 2-0 in their recent league outing against Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ)
