With the win, Central Hinds Academy improves its record to 7-10 on the season. The Cougars travel to West Memphis Christian (West Memphis, AR) to encounter the Black Knights in a MAIS battle on Tuesday, October 8. The Black Knights go into the battle with a record of 11-1. West Memphis Christian won 3-0 in their recent league battle against North Delta (Batesville, MS)

The Flashes now own a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson Prep for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 15.
