In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Diego Rivera Huskies volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Jefferson Democrats.
The Huskies (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dr. Maya Angelou Community (Los Angeles, CA). The Phoenix come into the Exposition challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Dr. Maya Angelou Community lost by Manual Arts (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Democrats meet the Los Angeles Romans (Los Angeles, CA) in a Exposition challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Romans come into the challenge with a 18-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA).
