The East Columbus Gators volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host East Bladen Eagles to 0 in the Gators league triumph on Monday.

The Gators now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Heide Trask for a Waccamaw 1A/2A outing on Thursday, October 10. East Columbus will play a Titans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Titans record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, East Bladen drops to 7-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC) to play the Vikings in a Waccamaw 1A/2A outing on Wednesday, October 9. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 0-11.
