Fans at Monday's league contest between the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) and the visiting East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI), observed North Kingstown's volleyball team top East Providence by a count of 3-0.

The Skippers (12-0) will now prepare for their contest against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons enter the Division 1 contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Cranston West notched a victory over Cranston East (Cranston, RI), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Townies battle the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) in a Division 1 contest, on Wednesday, October 9. East Providence will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the contest with a 11-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Westerly (Westerly, RI).
