Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Edna Karr improves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA) to face the Penguins in a Division II District 8 test on Thursday, October 10. The Penguins go into the test with a record of 17-5. Academy of Our Lady lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Northshore (Slidell, LA)

The Rams now own a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Martin's Episcopal for a Division V District 8 test on Tuesday, October 8. West St. John will face a Saints squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Saints record now stands at 3-8.
