The Greenup County Musketeers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Fairview Eagles to 0 in the Musketeers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Musketeers now have a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lawrence County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 8. Greenup County will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Fairview drops to 6-16 on the campaign. The Eagles host Boyd County (Ashland, KY) to play the Lions in a District 64 outing on Tuesday, October 8. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 15-10. Boyd County won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Blazer (Ashland, KY)
