In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the South Side Hornet.

The Thunderbirds (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Two Rivers (Ola, AR). The Gators enter the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Two Rivers was beaten by Magazine (Magazine, AR), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornet meet the Hector Wildcats (Hector, AR) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 10. South Side will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Nemo Vista (Center Ridge, AR).
