Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Hampden Charter School of Science (Chicopee, MA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mahar Regional improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Senators host Turners Falls (Montague, MA) to face the Thunder in a Pioneer Valley - Northern test on Tuesday, October 8. The Thunder go into the test with a record of 6-6. Turners Falls lost 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, MA)

The (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Granby (Granby, MA). The Rams enter the non-league game with a 0-13 record. In their last game, Granby was tipped by Springfield Renaissance (Springfield, MA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
