In Monday's league challenge, the host Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Kingston Tigers.

The Crusaders (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY). The Bushmen come into the Section 9 Orange County I challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Pine Bush beat Middletown (Middletown, NY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Kingston will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Warwick (Warwick, NY).
