Fans at Monday's league contest between the Klahowya Eagles (Silverdale, WA) and the host Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA), observed Klahowya's volleyball team top Vashon Island by a count of 3-0.

The Eagles (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Charles Wright (Tacoma, WA). The Tarriers come into the 1A Nisqually bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Charles Wright defeated Annie Wright (Tacoma, WA), 3-1, in a league bout.

With the loss, Vashon Island drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Pirates host Sultan (Sultan, WA) to clash with the Turks in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 10. The Turks come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Sultan won 3-0 in their recent league bout against South Whidbey (Langley, WA)
