The Lewis County Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting West Carter Comets to 2 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now possess a 2-20 record. They play next when they travel to Raceland for a District 63 outing on Tuesday, October 8. Lewis County will play a Rams team coming off a 3-2 league win over Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Rams record now stands at 16-13.

With the loss, West Carter drops to 11-8 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Morgan County (West Liberty, KY) to play the Cougars in a District 62 outing on Tuesday, October 8. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 4-12. Morgan County won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Bath County (Owingsville, KY)
