In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Tewksbury Memorial Redmen volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Lowell Red Raiders.

The Redmen (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA). The Indians enter the Merrimack Valley II challenge with a 14-0 record. In their last challenge, Billerica Memorial beat Lawrence (Lawrence, MA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Red Raiders meet the Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA) in a Merrimack Valley II match, on Wednesday, October 9. Lowell will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Middies enter the match with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Academy of Notre Dame (Tyngsborough, MA).
