The Somerset Christian Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Mercer County Titans to 1 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cougars now have a 14-8 record. They play next when they host Wayne County for a District 48 outing on Tuesday, October 8. Somerset Christian will play a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Mercer County drops to 10-8 on the campaign. The Titans host Washington County (Springfield, KY) to play the Commanders in a non-league outing on Monday, October 14. The Commanders come into the outing with a record of 4-14. Washington County lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Bardstown (Bardstown, KY)
