The Middlesex Chargers edged the host Rappahannock Raiders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Chargers confront the Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines (Chester, VA) in a Tidewater game, on Tuesday, October 8. Middlesex will attempt to advance on its 16-2 season record. The Wolverines go into the game with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA).

The Raiders (9-7) will now prepare for their game against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Indians go into the Northern Neck game with a 10-5 record. In their last game, Northumberland nudged Mathews (Mathews, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
