Connecticut High School Volleyball - Naugatuck over Pomperaug

In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Naugatuck Greyhounds volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Pomperaug Panthers.

The Greyhounds (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Torrington (Torrington, CT). The Raiders enter the Naugatuck Valley challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Torrington was beaten by Ansonia (Ansonia, CT), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a Southwest-Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Pomperaug will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.
