In Monday's league challenge, the host Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Piedmont Classical Bobcats.

The Bengals (3-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethany (Summerfield, NC). The Wolves enter the Northwest Piedmont 1A challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Bethany beat Millennium (Mount Airy, NC), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Piedmont Classical will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Villains enter the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC).
